Description
Marco Tirelli is a comprehensive monograph that delves into the life and work of Italian artist Marco Tirelli. His oeuvre spans multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, and installation, showcasing an infinite array of images with no clear boundaries between representation and abstraction. Tirelli's paintings feature intricate, microscopically detailed depictions of figures and scenes, which, upon closer inspection, break down into agglomerates of light. His work is characterized by a subtle, intellectual approach, driven by an introspective inquiry to capture the essence of the absolute through artistic gesture. This tension between illusion and reality also permeates his sculptures and installations, weaving multiple narrative threads that draw inspiration from both personal and collective imagination. Through this book, readers can explore Tirelli's innovative and enigmatic practice, gaining insight into the artist's unique vision and creative process.
