Description

Lung Water is a powerful two-hander that explores the complexities of guilt, grief, and professional repercussions. After a tragic event on her ward, Lizzy faces severe consequences for her duty of care, leading to a downward spiral of emotional turmoil. As she seeks solace in her family home, old tensions resurface, and long-held secrets threaten to overwhelm her. A devastating letter from her father forces her to confront the guilt she's been carrying since childhood, aligning with the blame she's been made to feel for a tragic loss. This taut drama, part of Methuen Drama's Lost Plays series, sheds light on the darker aspects of human experience, revealing the devastating consequences of unresolved emotions and unspoken truths.
