Description

Lucky Sods: A Play by John Godber is a comedy drama that follows the lives of two couples as they navigate love, loss, and luck. When Morris and Jean win the National Lottery, their lives are forever changed, but their happiness is short-lived. As the couple's fortunes rise and fall, their relationships become increasingly complicated. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that bad luck can be a curse as much as good fortune. The play explores themes of marriage, family, and the complexities of human relationships. With its witty dialogue and relatable characters, Lucky Sods is a humorous and thought-provoking exploration of life's ups and downs. This play has been performed by numerous theatre companies and continues to be a popular choice for productions.
