Description
A poignant one-act play for two women and one man reflects poignantly on love, loss, and beginning again. Three people have come to visit the grave of Michael, who has died of a heart attack in his early 40s. His wife Maureen, lover Anna, and friend Bob each had a unique relationship with him, but secrets between them impede the comfort they might otherwise draw from each other. As they gather at Michael's grave, their individual stories of love, loss, and longing are revealed, creating a complex web of emotions that is both deeply personal and universally relatable. This thought-provoking drama explores the complexities of human relationships and the power of shared grief to bring people together. Written by Tony Rushforth, Lovers A Play is a powerful exploration of the human heart, one that will resonate with anyone who has ever loved, lost, or struggled to move on.
