Description
Paula Bonet's Los diarios de la anguila is a deeply personal and introspective work, born from her own journey of self-discovery in 2018. Following a series of events, she embarked on a solo retreat to Santiago de Chile, where she found solace in the city that had welcomed her over twenty years earlier.
As she wandered through the city, Bonet combined her love of painting and writing, creating a unique fusion of art and prose in her black notebook. The result is a collection of diaries that blend observations, encounters, readings, thoughts, and reflections - as well as the heroes and heroines that populate her imagination.
Through these pages, readers are invited to experience Bonet's inner world, where moments of serenity give way to intense emotions. With unflinching honesty, she shares her struggles and triumphs, offering a unique glimpse into the life of a woman who refuses to be defined by societal expectations.
