Description
Lockdown Infinity by Karl Shergill is a gripping novel that continues the story from Lockdown Alpha. A woman's unrequited love becomes an all-consuming force, driving her to commit heinous crimes during the COVID-19 pandemic. As she seeks to fulfill her obsessive desires, she taps into metaphysical and mystic powers, transforming into a monstrous entity with a relentless killing instinct. The narrative fearlessly explores LGBTQ issues, including discrimination, insecurity, mental illness, attempted suicide, and the tragic reality of lives lost to suicide. Against the backdrop of lockdown, the story sheds light on how social, economic, and psychological complexities can lead to disturbing human behaviour, resulting in a surge of criminal activity. This thought-provoking novel delves into the darker aspects of human nature, raising important questions about the impact of isolation and societal pressures on individuals.
