Description

Blood Orange by Liza Ambrossio is an exploration of aesthetics and poetics that begins with a striking mental image: an orange that bleeds. This work combines elements of performance, space intervention, video, installation, psychological manipulation, science fiction, eroguru, and witchcraft to create a unique visual language.

Through the lens of Japanese counterculture and Aztec rituals, Ambrossio delves into themes of contempt for exasperation and the power of ritual in contemporary art. The result is a thought-provoking and visually striking book that challenges readers to reconsider their relationship with image and meaning.

This edition features 140 pages of high-quality hardcover photography, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in Ambrossio's innovative vision.
