Life, Life: Selected Poems is a collection of poetry by Russian poet Arseny Tarkovsky, translated into English. This is one of the few translations available in English, making it an important work for those interested in exploring his unique voice.

The book includes many poems that were used in Andrei Tarkovsky's films, and features a bibliography of both Arseny and his son Andrei, as well as illustrations from their movies. This edition is the second print run, published in 2016.

Born in 1907, Arseny Tarkovsky studied literature before working as a translator, particularly of Oriental classics. His own poetry was not widely known until he was over fifty, and it wasn't until later in life that his work began to be published. Despite this, his son Andrei went on to use many of his poems in his films.
