Description
The Old Testament provides essential information about the creator God and how individuals and nations should relate to Him. This book focuses on the lives of the kings of Judah and Israel after the 10/2 split, examining their relationships with God and each other in the personal, national, and international context of that time. It explores the rules laid down by Moses for future kings of Israel, the errors of Solomon that led to the split, and the individual biographies of each king. The book also includes examples such as the life of the prophet Elijah, the return of some Jews from exile in Babylon, and the relationship between Judah and Israel with surrounding nations. The author draws on these stories to explain how individuals and nations can relate to God, and what the future holds for those who ignore Him.
