Description
The Last Day Blues by Julie Danneberg is a heartwarming story about what happens when students worry that their teacher won't be too sad during summer vacation. The class comes up with a plan to make sure Mrs. Hartwell, their teacher, has a great summer. As the school year draws to a close, Mrs. Hartwell and her students think about how they can show appreciation for each other's company. But what do teachers really do for summer vacation? Julie Danneberg brings to life the special bond between Mrs. Hartwell and her class in this lighthearted tale. Perfect for an end-of-year storytime or a thoughtful gift, Last Day Blues reminds us that teachers and students are more alike than we sometimes think.
