Description

A week in the sun seems like a distant dream for our narrator, but he's willing to take a chance. On impulse, he walks into a travel agency and books a trip to Lanzarote, hoping to escape his usual New Year's disappointments. The island promises a unique blend of 21st-century hedonism and lunar landscapes, attracting an eclectic mix of visitors. Our narrator is drawn to the island's eccentric inhabitants, including Pam and Barbara, two German lesbians who embody the island's free-spirited nature. As he navigates this bizarre world, our narrator must confront his own desires and consider whether his holiday will be a success. In Lanzarote, nothing seems certain, not even the arrival of Rudi, a police inspector from Luxembourg, or his potential involvement with an 'Azraelian' sect. The island's surreal atmosphere is both captivating and unsettling, leaving our narrator to ponder what he truly wants from his time in the sun.
