Description

Ladyboys: 10 Different Stories by Dante X is a collection of ten distinct stories that explore the lives and experiences of transsexual women in Thailand. The author's encounters with these individuals have been numerous, and he shares his observations and insights in this unique and candid work. Thailand is often described as a country where traditional norms do not apply, and this is particularly evident in its vibrant LGBTQ+ community. The book delves into the lives of both Lady-boys (transsexual women who identify as female) and Tom-boys (individuals who dress and present themselves as male), offering a glimpse into their experiences and relationships. This book contains nine true stories and one fictional account, each providing a unique perspective on the lives of these individuals. It is a thought-provoking and often provocative work that challenges readers to consider the complexities of identity and community in Thailand.
