Description
The Secret Autobiography of Father Pío: The Investigation by the Holy Office. In 1924, the Catholic Church conducted an investigation into the life of Father Pío, a Franciscan friar who had received miraculous stigmas. This detailed account of the inquiry has been hidden for nearly a century. The investigation was led by Monsignor Rossi, a Vatican official tasked with uncovering the truth about Father Pío's extraordinary experiences. Over eight days, Monsignor Rossi questioned those close to Father Pío and gathered their testimonies, which have now been recovered and made available in this book. Written by Francesco Castelli, a priest and historian, this book brings together the original texts of the investigation, including several autobiographical accounts from Father Pío himself.
