Description

Kiss It! is a powerful and moving portrait of one woman's journey with obesity, as documented by photographer Abbie Trayler-Smith over 12 years.

The book tells the story of Shannon, a young woman who has been the central inspiration for Trayler-Smith's long-term project, 'The Big O', examining the issue of obesity in school-age children and young adults. Through photographs and text, Trayler-Smith explores the complexities of body image, identity, and self-acceptance.

This poignant and thought-provoking book offers a unique insight into the experiences of those living with obesity, and is a testament to the enduring power of photography to tell stories that need to be told.
