Description
Bess and Hannah wait for help to arrive, hoping life will change. But as they sleep rough on London's streets, they're often overlooked by passersby who might be willing to send £10 a month to charity. That is, until they meet Caz, a young woman who takes what she needs. As Bess and Hannah get drawn into this new way of thinking, they discover a power in their position that opens up a world of change. This powerful story explores the lives of those on London's streets, highlighting the struggles and resilience of its characters. Originally performed at the 2017 VAULT Festival before transferring to the New Diorama Theatre, Kings is a thought-provoking drama that sheds light on the often-overlooked experiences of those living on the margins.
