Description
Jack Jones has a rare condition that prevents him from feeling pain. This physical immunity is matched by his emotional turmoil. As a child, he was subjected to years of abuse at the hands of his stepfather, Frank, a dentist with a sadistic streak. His maternal grandmother knew what was happening but failed to intervene. As an adult, Jack works as a criminal defence paralegal, a profession that has become increasingly difficult for him due to his conflicted sense of morality. When he hears news of his grandmother's death, it sets him on a path of self-discovery and moral reckoning. A chance encounter with PC Rachel Slater leads to an unexpected attraction, but Jack soon finds himself entangled in a web of revenge and justice. The events that unfold will lead to the creation of The Revengelist, a figure driven by a desire for vengeance against those who have escaped punishment. This gripping thriller explores themes of trauma, morality, and the complexities of human relationships.
