Description
Cosmowomen places as constellations by Izaskun Chinchilla presents an innovative approach to architecture and its relationship with women's roles in the profession. By exploring the potential for increased female participation, the project aims to generate new spaces for reflection and consideration among architects. The book showcases the work of sixty-five architects from over twenty countries who have completed their master's degree at a prestigious school of architecture in recent years. The contributions are introduced by twenty professional women who exemplify their successful academic careers. Through its use of celestial imagery, Cosmowomen places as constellations invites readers to examine the philosophy and politics of material spaces, while also highlighting the characteristics of female-led architectural production.
