Description
Eric White's paintings explore the unsettling relationship between beauty and horror. His work examines the layers of human perception by manipulating planes of focus and the reliability of form and colour, drawing inspiration from the illusory properties of film. This comprehensive collection brings together four galleries' worth of White's career as a painter, showcasing his unique approach to capturing the shifting boundaries between reality and illusion. Through his hyper-intensive, distortedly lucid style, White challenges the viewer to re-evaluate their understanding of form and colour.
