Description

Introduction to Quantum Computing From a Layperson to a Programmer in 30 Steps by Hiu Yung Wong is a comprehensive textbook that introduces quantum computing to readers with little background in linear algebra. Written for undergraduate and master students, this book provides a self-study experience with over 200 exercises and teaching videos for each chapter. The author's goal is to equip readers with the knowledge needed to write programs simulating quantum computing algorithms and run them on real quantum computers, such as IBM-Q. Unlike other books that provide only superficial explanations, this textbook uses exact formalism, allowing readers to build a solid foundation for further advanced topics. With 355 pages of in-depth information, this book is ideal for those willing to invest around 60-90 hours in learning quantum computing.
