Intervention

The bridge between "The Saga of the Exiles" and "The Galactic Mileu Trilogy", Intervention Book One is a pivotal moment in the Galactic Milieu Series. For 60,000 years, humanity has been observed by an alien presence, waiting for the right moment to intervene. Now, with the emergence of children with unusual mental powers, known as operants, the stage is set for a dramatic shift. At its centre is Rogi Remillard, a humble book dealer whose life is about to change forever. With the help of an entity he calls the family ghost, Rogi must navigate his nephew Denis's strong metapsychic abilities and the volatile powers of Denis's father, Victor. As events unfold, Victor's destructive tendencies threaten to undermine society, leaving only his family - and potentially others - to intervene. As the situation spirals out of control, Denis may be forced to call upon an extraordinary ally from beyond Earth. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, Intervention Book One is a gripping tale of power, responsibility, and the consequences of playing with forces beyond human control.
