Description

Shereen LaPlantz' "Innovative Bookbinding: Secret Compartments & Hidden Messages" is a unique guide to creating dynamic books with hidden surprises. First published in 1997, this book has been re-released in new editions over the years, including a special 2013 edition that showcases Shereen's original vision. The book features four hand-bound "Secret Compartments and Hidden Messages," which were included in earlier editions. This latest edition includes photographic reproductions of these sections, along with additional illustrations that bring Shereen's ideas to life. As Shereen always said, "Make fun books!" With this book, you can create your own special books that are full of hidden treasures. This 2013 edition is a loving tribute to Shereen LaPlantz, who passed away in 2003. It has been carefully recreated by her husband, David LaPlantz, and is dedicated to her memory.
