Initiated

Amanda Yates-Garcia's memoir INITIATED is a powerful exploration of her journey to reclaim her body and harness her power through witchcraft. Her story begins with an initiation into her mother's coven, but it's the struggles that follow - poverty, sex work, and misogyny - that ultimately shape her path towards self-discovery and empowerment. Through her experiences, Garcia reveals a call to action for women to claim their authority and power by embracing witchcraft. This book is not just about one person's story, but also about the lessons she has learned along the way: how to heal ancestral wounds, set psychic boundaries, and create change in your life. With each chapter, Garcia delves deeper into the world of witchcraft, drawing on fables and tales of empowered witches throughout history. By exploring the intersection of witchiness and feminism, INITIATED offers a message that resonates with women who feel enraged by a culture built to disempower and subjugate them. This book is a testament to the transformative power of self-discovery and empowerment, and a reminder that claiming your authority and power is a fundamental act of bravery.
