Description

Bob Marley's life was marked by his extraordinary gift for absorbing and interpreting the world around him. Born in 1945, he grew up in a rural Jamaican countryside with a unique blend of influences that shaped his music and message.

Influenced by his biracial heritage, island home, and everyday injustices, Bob went on to become a musician and messenger; a poet and prophet of reggae culture. His music echoed from Jamaica across the globe, spreading his heartfelt message of peace, love, and equality to everyone who heard his songs.

This biography in verse brings to life Bob Marley's fascinating journey from boy to icon, with soulful paintings and uniquely perceptive poems that capture the essence of his remarkable story.
