Description

Holiday! by Natalie Nelson is a humorous story about how change can be disruptive - even on holidays. A strange visitor named Holiday arrives and takes over for Monday, meeting the other days of the week in the process. As Holiday introduces himself to each day, Monday becomes increasingly upset, while Wednesday and Friday start to feel worried too. Meanwhile, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday are smitten with this new day. However, when it's time for Holiday to leave, Monday asks him to pack his things - but Tuesday comes up with a solution that works for everyone. This story pokes fun at how set in our ways we can be and encourages us to be open to change and the unexpected. With its ingenious characterizations of the days of the week, this book is sure to entertain readers young and old.
