Description

Brice R. Wachterhauser's Hermeneutics and Truth explores the complex relationship between truth and interpretation in philosophy. This collection builds upon the work of key thinkers, particularly Hans-Georg Gadamer, who sought to understand how we can pursue truth within a context that is inherently relative. Wachterhauser's focus on Gadamer's thought offers new insights into the issue of truth for hermeneutics. The book provides a nuanced understanding of this central concern in Continental philosophy. Hermeneutics and Truth is an important contribution to ongoing discussions about the nature of truth and interpretation, making it a valuable resource for those interested in philosophical inquiry.
