Description
The truth about Operation Highjump remains shrouded in mystery. In 1946, the United States Navy conducted an expedition to evaluate the effect of extreme Antarctic cold on US equipment, but their true purpose has never been fully disclosed. The expedition's reports of aerial combat with unknown forces were dismissed as mere fantasy, but it is now clear that something extraordinary occurred. The US returned every Antarctic summer until escalating tensions in Southeast Asia forced the government to secretly detonate nuclear warheads over the continent in 1958. With the threat eliminated, the files were sealed and forgotten. But the enemy has not forgotten. A genetically superior army, indoctrinated from birth to hate Americans for their perceived savagery, has returned with a thirst for revenge against those who banished them to the icy wastes.
