Description

Grace's first contract as a necromancer is a daunting task. She has been forced to communicate with ghosts she had previously refused to acknowledge, and her latest case involves a murder that she cannot solve alone. Michael was killed, and he believes his wife and baby daughter will be next to die. With the help of Grace, they may be able to prevent their deaths. However, this case comes with its own set of challenges. A death warrant has been served on Grace by the Committee of the Supernatural Community, which will only be revoked if she hunts down and kills supernatural monsters that she inadvertently released into the world when she escaped from Meridian Clinic. To make matters more complicated, a moody werewolf is also involved, whose feelings towards her are unclear. As Grace navigates this complex web of murder, ghosts, and supernatural creatures, she will have to use all her skills to prevent the deaths of innocents and uncover the truth behind Michael's murder.
