George Fox A Christian Mystic : Texts that Reveal His Personality This collection presents George Fox's profound spiritual awakening and its impact on his life. In his mature years, Fox dictated an account of his experience, which transformed him from a restless youth into a charismatic leader. He shared this story with others, establishing the Religious Society of Friends or Quakers. A unique record of Fox's spiritual journey is presented here, featuring documents he created to guide and support his followers. These writings are edited for the modern reader, offering insight into the Christian tradition and the living out of a mystical experience in everyday life. Restored from its original form, this collection provides a rare glimpse into the life of one of Christianity's most influential mystics.
