Description
From Rowan Ridge explores the author's deep connection with nature and the rivers of Mid-Wales' borderland. As a child, the Pinsley stream was their constant companion, introducing them to a world of creatures and plants.
The author's love for exploration and observation was nurtured by family members who shared their passion for the natural world. Their mother helped identify places to visit, while their father's fishing trips upstream sparked an interest in water meadows.
