Description
Edith Amy Pierce's life story is one of resilience and determination. Settling for an easy life was not part of her plan, even in her late 80s.
She lived through the horrors of the Second World War in Liverpool, waving goodbye to her husband just four days after their marriage, before being reunited nearly four years later. After his death in 1981, she found new purpose in voluntary work and continued to make a positive impact on those around her.
Now approaching her 90th birthday, Edith Amy Pierce shares her remarkable autobiography, From Everton Vale to Rivington Pike, offering a fascinating glimpse into her life's journey so far.
