Description
Tom Read's story is one of extraordinary courage and determination. In 2021, he became the first person to attempt to punch a hole through the sound barrier unassisted while freefalling from over 23 miles above the earth.
However, his attempt did not go as planned, leaving him in a French hospital bed with a life-altering injury. From this point on, Tom began to reflect on his life and the events that had led him to this moment.
In FREEFALL, Tom recounts his remarkable past, including his childhood, his time in the British Parachute Regiment, and his experiences during the Falklands conflict. This is a gripping account of an amazing life, full of suspense and intrigue.
