Description
Fran Silvestre Architects presents a stunning collection of projects from the Spanish architect and interior designer Fran Silvestre. His Valencia-based studio and architecture firm, Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, has gained international recognition for its sleek, luxurious aesthetic. Silvestre's approach to architecture is driven by the search for "efficient beauty" and the aim to create ideal places to live in harmony with their natural environment. This monograph showcases his finest projects, which celebrate the surroundings of his buildings rather than taking them away from them. From Spain to Brazil, Colombia, Los Angeles, and China, Silvestre's striking designs illustrate his philosophy of conceiving architecture that "holds onto air and walks on water". Complete with an informative text written by leading expert Philip Jodidio, this book will provide readers with a new perspective on architecture.
