Description

Five Ages by Cassandra Atherton, Oz Hardwick and Paul Hetherington takes the ancient Greek concept of human society's decline as its starting point. This anthology reimagines Hesiod's vision in five individual 'chapbooks' of prose poetry.

Each poet explores new concepts while challenging some of the archaic Greek poet's assumptions, bringing a contemporary perspective to the table. The result is a unique blend of old and new ideas that will appeal to readers looking for something fresh and thought-provoking.

This collection offers a fascinating reinterpretation of Hesiod's Five Ages, making it an interesting choice for those interested in poetry and its ability to reflect and shape our understanding of the world around us.
