Opúsculos y cuestiones selectas presents a significant aspect of Saint Thomas Aquinas' writings, showcasing his philosophical and theological genius at its peak. While his most famous work, the Suma de Teología, is renowned for its systematic clarity, some of his key themes were also explored in standalone works or academic disputes.

The Biblioteca de Autores Cristiano has long made these works available to Spanish-speaking readers through their editions of the Suma de Teología and Suma contra gentiles. Now, they introduce a new series featuring lesser-known but essential writings by Saint Thomas Aquinas. This bilingual edition brings together the text from the Leonine edition with a translation and editing by specialist scholars.

These previously overlooked works offer a deeper understanding of Saint Thomas' thought and are an important addition to any study of medieval philosophy and theology.
