Description

Field Work: A fresh take on nature writing from East Anglia. Edited and co-ordinated by Sarah Lowndes, this anthology brings together new poetry and prose about the natural world written by women and people of colour. The collection challenges traditional notions of the genre, instead highlighting intersectional perspectives on race, class, gender and sexuality in relation to our connection with the land. Featuring a diverse range of responses from children, young people and adults who call East Anglia home, Field Work showcases an incredible variety of writing styles, subject matter and authors. From prose and poetry to short stories and life writing, this anthology is designed as a keepsake and inspiration for anyone interested in the flora and fauna of the English landscape.
