Description
Facing West by Kelvin Corcoran is a thought-provoking collection that explores the power of myth and its uses. The poems in this book balance between cryptic phrases and oral traditions, creating a unique reading experience. The structure of the book is experimental, with prose passages and fragments from other languages woven throughout. These disparate elements work together to form a cohesive whole, with each section contributing to the overall narrative. The result is a book that feels carefully crafted, yet open to interpretation. This collection showcases Corcoran's skill as a poet, who uses language in innovative ways to convey complex ideas and emotions.
