Description
Eugenio Oneguin
A young Russian dandy, feeling suffocated by life, inherits a country estate from his uncle. It is there that he forms an unlikely friendship with Vladimir Lensky, a poet who has studied in Germany.
Oneguin's introduction to the family of Lensky's fiancée, Olga Lárina, sets off a chain of events. Tatiana, Olga's sister, becomes infatuated with Oneguin and writes him a letter confessing her love. However, Oneguin does not respond, leading to a complicated web of relationships.
The novel follows Oneguin's journey as he navigates his feelings and the societal expectations placed upon him. With its exploration of love, class, and identity, Eugenio Oneguin is a thought-provoking tale of self-discovery.
