Description
Eternal London is Giacomo Brunelli's unique and evocative portrayal of the city. Commissioned by The Photographers Gallery, London, this body of work showcases Brunelli's distinct film-noir style, using silhouettes of people and animals to frame his images. Brunelli's approach is both surprising and particular, as he photographs landmarks like Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, and St. Paul's Cathedral in unexpected ways. He achieves a dramatic atmosphere by exploiting light, shadow, and contrast, while protecting the anonymity of his subjects. This distinctive style has been widely acclaimed, with Brunelli exhibiting his work globally and receiving several prestigious awards. This reissued edition includes additional images from Brunelli's first book, The Animals, which was published to great critical acclaim in 2008.
