Inspired by a trip to Spain the previous year, Espana showcases driving rhythms, brilliant orchestral colours and folk-derived melodies, characteristic of the Spanish-genre showpiece. This score is a reduced-sized reissue of the newly-engraved, thoroughly researched and corrected edition prepared by Clinton F. Nieweg and Nancy M. Bradburd in 2008.
