Description
Naomi Scheman's Engenderings challenges traditional philosophical reasoning by arguing that concerns of privilege are at its core. This thought-provoking work critiques the narrow focus of much feminist theorizing, calling for a more inclusive approach to inquiry.
The construction of knowledge and authority is re-examined through the lens of gender, highlighting the need for a more nuanced understanding of philosophical reasoning. Scheman's book offers a powerful challenge to the idea that gender has no bearing on philosophical thought.
