Description
The Eneida is an epic poem that tells the story of Aeneas, a hero exiled from his homeland, as he navigates a perilous journey to find a new home. Along the way, he faces numerous challenges and eventually establishes a city in Italy, which would go on to become the foundation of Rome. This version of the Eneida has been carefully edited and revised by its author, Vicente Cristóbal López, who has updated the original introduction written by Javier de Echave-Sustaeta. The result is a masterful blend of ancient legend and historical fact, offering insights into the origins of Rome and its people. First published in 2019, this edition presents a fresh perspective on a timeless work of literature that continues to appeal to readers with its rich narrative and enduring themes.
