Description
Brigitte Benkemoun's search for a replacement for her husband's lost Hermès agenda leads her to an unusual eBay purchase - an old, almost identical leather-bound book. As she flips through its pages, she discovers a treasure trove of information on the lives of 20th-century artists, including Picasso and Braque.
Obsessed with uncovering more about the book's mysterious past, Benkemoun embarks on a two-year journey to reveal the story of Dora Maar, a fascinating and enigmatic woman whose life was intertwined with some of the era's most iconic figures. Through a unique blend of photographs, scenes from her social circle, and fragments of her own poetry, this book offers a captivating portrait of an artist who defied convention.
