Description
The Essenes' Gospel: Book III and IV by Edmond Bordeaux Székely. This translation presents two previously unknown texts from the Mar Mortel scrolls, which challenge the early Christian teachings that eventually led to their abandonment. The Essene community rejected worldly power and sought a realm of peace and harmony. Their spiritual quest was rooted in a profound understanding of the human condition, as revealed through these ancient writings. This collection offers a unique insight into the history of Christianity's earliest days, shedding light on the evolution of its core principles. By exploring the teachings of the Essenes, readers can gain a deeper understanding of the complex and often contradictory nature of early Christian thought.
