Description
On 3 July 2006, tragedy struck Valencia's metro system, resulting in one of Spain's deadliest accidents. Five days before Pope Benedict XVI's visit, the underground station of Jesús was ravaged by disaster, claiming 43 lives and injuring many more.
The official narrative of the accident quickly took hold, with institutions eager to move on from the tragedy. However, amidst the chaos, a group of survivors refused to let their voices be silenced. For nearly ten years, they gathered in the plaza of the Virgin, demanding justice for themselves and their loved ones.
