Description

El Decamerón : antología A collection of 100 tales told by ten young people from Florence, who decide to share stories with each other while in quarantine during the Black Death. This volume, selected and presented by Gustavo Martín Garzo, brings together some of the most popular, beautiful, and captivating stories from "The Decameron". Written by Giovanni Boccaccio, a key figure in humanism and the Renaissance, these tales are known for their joy and beauty, offering a refreshing alternative to pessimistic views. The stories have been retold and celebrated in various forms of art, including film. This anthology is a great introduction to Boccaccio's work and the world of "The Decameron".
