El cómic sobre la guerra civil

Published in 2018, "El cómic sobre la guerra civil" offers a unique perspective on one of Spain's most significant historical periods. Over 70 years and hundreds of comics and graphic novels have been created about the Spanish Civil War, revealing its enduring impact on people's lives.

These comics are not just accounts of history, but also objects that evoke memories and emotions. They reflect different eras and societies, from the post-war period to contemporary times, and even touch on the experiences of those who fled to Argentina or France. Some aim to simply recount the war, while others invite readers to think, feel, or take action.

The perception of the conflict varies widely among these comics, with some viewing it as a legitimate struggle and others seeing it as a devastating event that cannot be justified. This book provides a platform for exploring the complexities of this period in history, highlighting both its ongoing relevance and the challenges of coming to terms with the past.
