Description
On 2 August, I left my car in the garage. It was deserted. As I approached the entrance, I cursed another malfunction with the old elevator, which was as beautiful and impractical as it was.
I live in a seventh-floor apartment in a seven-story building, so I began the climb resignedly. On the third floor, I kicked something, turned on the hallway light, and found an enormous bundle of keys. It's full summer, Madrid is empty, and there's a journalist with time and a desire to explore.
The keys are made for opening doors, mailboxes, cars, dreams, and other people's lives. What I least expected was that they would lead me into a story of love and a mysterious death that I would inevitably have to investigate. The lives of others can be surprising.
