Description

Ducks on Parade! chronicles the creative transformations of Boston's iconic bronze Make Way for Ducklings sculpture in the Public Garden. Over the years, artistic visitors have dressed the ducks in an array of outfits, from summer hats to winter scarves, reflecting the city's diverse life and culture.

Featuring photographs taken by members of the public, this book is a tribute to the creativity and generosity of Bostonians who have made this collaborative art possible. It offers a revealing look at the lasting power of public art and how viewers can also be participants in its evolution.

A unique and whimsical record of artistic expression, Ducks on Parade! invites readers to appreciate the beauty of everyday life and the ways in which public art can bring people together.
