Description
Dr. Adam Knox returns to Los Angeles after serving in Afghanistan, bringing with him a newfound sense of purpose and a determination to help those in need. He sets up a clinic in one of the city's most troubled areas, where he tends to the vulnerable and the victims of exploitation. One night, a Romanian woman and her son arrive at the clinic, seeking help after being trafficked into forced prostitution. Knox is also called upon by a wealthy patient who has been shot, and offers him a deal: in exchange for his services, the patient will pay Knox to investigate and take revenge on the gangsters responsible for the shooting. As Knox navigates this complex web of crime and corruption, he must use all his skills and resources to uncover the truth and bring justice to those who have been wronged.
