Description
Blessed Dominic Barberi was a pivotal figure in the life of St John Henry Newman, yet his own story remains largely unknown. This biography sheds light on the remarkable life and ministry of this influential Catholic priest.
Born in 1792, Blessed Dominic spent most of his adult life yearning to serve in England, despite facing numerous challenges. He was a gifted theologian and author, with extraordinary spiritual gifts that allowed him to connect deeply with those around him. Through his tireless labours for the glory of God and the conversion of England, he accomplished much in just eight years of ministry.
This brief biography, written by Fr Gerard Skinner, introduces readers to one of the least known yet most influential apostles to the English. With a focus on Blessed Dominic's remarkable life and legacy, this book offers a unique perspective on an important chapter in Catholic history.
